We had two next door neighbors that we were pretty good friends with them, we'll just call them K and D. Well these two boys were like the boy versions of us, and we had some pretty fun times together. Things got really fun/interesting when we got into a prank war with them. We started it by stealing some of their things and putting them in jell-o. They stole our mattresses while our roommate Ali watched. We decided to write a fun message on K's car, the car that they shared since D didn't have one. Here are the pictures from our prank. The funnest part was is that they were at our apartment and saw the car while we were with them. Their reactions were priceless. After this little prank the boys put a bunch of live crickets in our apartment. It was gross, they were noisy and everywhere! Everyone moved out for the week except for Jacqui, she stayed back and killed all of the crickets! The pranks that we played this year were so much fun. Here are the pictures from the car prank we pulled:
Another memorable prank was when some different neighbors snuck into our apartment and dyed our milk pink. We got the boys back by making them hot sauce brownies! We left them on their doorstep, and ran and hid. A few minutes later we left a cup of pink milk (to let them know that we knew it was them that pranked us) on their doorstep. We started running after we rang their doorbell, and they chased us! We were so close to being caught, we got chased down all three flights of stairs, and luckily were able to hide in a friends apartment in the basement. The whole time we were running we could hear the boy chasing us right behind us. The adreneline rush stayed with us, and started our fun times pranking people all through college!

Guitar Lessons
Lindsay got a guitar for Christmas and was eager to learn to play it! Our friend Nate offered to give her lessons so we invited him over one night. Needless to say, Nate just played guitar all night, and Lindsay learned nothing! This is what the one and only guitar lesson turned into....

Taco Tuesday
We decided that we should start a Taco Tuesday tradition! We went out to buy sombrero's to wear for our parties, but all we found were tiny cowboy hats...but we didn't let that get us down! Taco Tuesday was a fun time for us to have an easy themed party and invite friends over!
Our taco tuesday tradition was carried on throughout the years. We soon found out that Cafe Rio actually had an official Taco Tuesday with $1.50 tacos, so eventually we stopped making our own and headed over there instead! Tuesday was always a day to look forward to!
Yum! Tacos!
Good roommates share tacos!
So happy for taco tuesday!
This is where Ali liked to spend taco tuesday haha
Boys weren't allowed in unless they had an authentic mustache...

Smurfee Robsted
After Christmas we decided it was time to get a pet! We felt responsible after completing one semester at Utah State, and we were ready for a new responsibility. Smurfee Robsted was welcomed into our apartment! Everyone loved Smurfee immediately, and he had many sleepovers with the neighbors!
We often found Smurfee in the fridge enjoying a late night snack!
It always amazed us how fast he could eat a whole strawberry pie!

Christmas
Our first year at Utah State we started the tradition of taking roommate pictures to send out in a Christmas card! This was one of our favorite things that we looked forward to, and we loved thinking of a new theme for the pictures every year! This year our roommate Ali had a lot of Christmas decorations so we all dressed up. Jacqui was a reindeer, Ali was an elf, Lisa was Santa Clause, and Lindsay was a Christmas tree!
Merry Christmas 2008!!
