Well, it's funny you should ask...

We actually met in the womb. Our parents got divorced after we were born when we were still babies. Lindsay went to live with mom, and Jacqui went to live with dad. We never knew about each other. Fast forward 12 years, and we meet each other at Girl's Camp. We really didn't like each other, and were constantly playing tricks on each other. Lindsay put honey in Jacqui's hair while she slept, and then feathered her. Jacqui put all of Lindsay's furniture on the roof of her cabin. Our leaders got fed up with these sorts of actions quickly, and decided to put us in the same cabin until we learned to get along. One night there was a really bad rainstorm, so we started to talk with each other. Lindsay pulled out a picture of the dad she had never met, and Jacqui pulled out a picture of the mom she had never met. Both pictures were ripped down the middle, and we put them together, finding that the two pictures were in fact one picture. We immediately bonded after this, finding out that we were in fact fraternal twins. Jacqui pierced Lindsay's ears, and Lindsay cut Jacqui's bangs. When girls camp ended, we decided to switch places with each other in attempt to reunite our parents. It worked! They got remarried! But sadly, they are now getting divorced again.

If you are thinking that this story sounds like a movie called "The Parent Trap", we have never heard of it.

Now that you know more about us, we will start filling you in on our daily lives, which are pretty exciting. We are waiting for the day that Oprah or MTV discovers us and offers us our own reality show. When the day comes we will call our show The Mountains. Here are the stories of us living in The Mountains.

We will start with Halloween...

For Halloween 2010 we came up with the brilliant idea to be Sailors! We knew that we had the most creative idea and that no one else would even think of it. We began dreaming the ideas of our costumes in our heads, picturing a big boat that we could set sail in (similar to Noah's) as well as a lot of fishing nets and anchors. Our boat ended up being made out of cardboard, duct tape, an old pillow case, and butcher paper...not quite suitable for sailing the seven seas, or even down the canal to our neighbors for dinner. But don't get us wrong, we couldn't be happier about the turnout (it's still in our living room as we type). Next, we had to find costumes. Instead of spending all of our money on a pre-packaged Halloween costume at some silly Halloween store, we decided to throw our own together. We found really cute shirts (dresses?) at Forever 21, for a very reasonable price. Added a pair of tights, tattoos (thanks to our tattoo artist Suzy), and sailor hats with iron on patches. Our look was complete! Mal-Pal came up from Salt Lake to accompany us to the Howl. Kirsten also joined us. We trekked up the mountain to campus (without our boat- it couldn't withstand the light rain), and stood in the longest line you could imagine. Good thing our precious friend Poncho was there to entertain us. He was without costume and a twirl. We didn't think we were going to get into the Howl since they oversold it by like 600 tickets. We waited in line for two hours before starting a riot. For usual entertainment, and to pass the time in line, we played our favorite game Operation Old Acquaintance, where we pretend like we have met strangers previously. They get really confused because we are professionals at this game. We finally got into the Howl around midnight, which was very unfortunate because it ended at 1 a.m. But this didn't stop us! We headed straight to the concert (We The Kings). We danced with at least half of the boys in attendance at the concert. We danced with Elvis, some cowboys, a boy in a towel, Hot Rod, and many more. Some of them ran (only like 2 people, really), most of them couldn't get enough. Many of these boys were probably confused when they got home and found that our tattoos had rubbed off onto their skin and clothes. But don't worry, it didn't get on our cute shirts (dresses?). The Howl was a success, as all of our days are. We danced our hearts out, and made many peoples nights. Job well done.

Now for the pictures...

Sailors in training, we salute you!

The pirate trying to steal our boat...unsuccessful!

We are cheerful.

Ready to set sail!
