Flashback to December for a minute....

This is me and Jacqui's third year at Utah State, and also our third year being roommates. During our first year we started some traditions. One of the traditions that we started was to take Christmas pictures, and send out Christmas cards to all of our family and friends. This has been one of our favorite things to do, and we always start thinking of ideas of what we are going to wear starting in like September. We get pretty excited!

Our first year at Utah State our roommate Ali had a bunch of different Christmas themed hats. This is where we got our inspiration for our first Christmas photo shoot/Christmas card pictures. Jacqui was a reindeer, I (Lindsay) was a Christmas tree, our roommate Ali was an elf, and our roommate Lisa was Santa Claus.

For our second year we decided to wear ugly/cute Christmas sweaters for our Christmas card. We would have loved having our roommates in our Christmas card pictures again, but they never hung out with us and spent a lot of time in their rooms. So this time it was just us in the pictures. Well, and our pets...Smurfee and Tinny. And they actually turned out pretty great.

And now finally, this years Christmas card pictures. This year our apartment is like one big happy family. We are a pretty diverse group of people, and we think thats what makes it so fun! Our roommates agreed to take Christmas pictures with us. During the summer Suzy and I found a Christmas tree in the closet, so we decorated that. Jacqui and I decided that the theme for this years pictures should be good old fashioned pajamas. And by good old fashioned I mean that Jacqui and I were actually wearing onesies. I had forgotten what it was like to wear baby clothes until this night. And boy are they comfortable!

This picture is the perfect note to end on. We thought it would be fun to decorate sugar cookies for Christmas, so I (Lindsay) found a yummy recipe online and made the dough. When it called for 7 1/2 cups of flour I should've realized I needed to cut the recipe in half. Instead, we made over 70 sugar cookies. Me and Jacqui decided that each roommate had to eat ten before bed. Some how, I think we did eat like all of these cookies!
