Flashback to Mardi Gras

3-15-11..... That is the date that I wrote this blog post.....Good thing it was just saved as a draft and not posted....who knows why that happened! So since it's already ready to go here it is!!!

Basically we are really behind on our blog. So we are probably going to be doing a lot of flashbacks, but thats okay.

Back in February our school had a huge Mardi Gras party! This is one of the biggest parties (outside of the Howl) at USU. Granted not as many people from outside of the school come to this party, but its probably one of the student's favorites. This is the first year that both of us have been able to go to Mardi Gras, so we were really excited. We also talked our roommate Clelia into coming with us too!

We decided that it was a must to dress up for this event, so we spent all day Saturday before the party started shopping. All we wanted were cute outfits in Mardi Gras colors- purple, green and yellow. We also wanted them to be maybe sparkly, or something else fun. We thought we would be shopping for like an hour...but instead we ended up shopping for about 6 hours. In the end we found something to wear!

We had a blast at Mardi Gras. We even got to attend a freak show. And a couple of freak shows wanted to hang out with us after the party...but we declined! It was a night to remember, and we will definitely never forget the Mentalist show that ended our night...definitely left us thinking. That guy was good!
